About the Department The Department of Primary Education Theory and Practice was formed within the Faculty of Pedagogy on August 27, 2019, by Decision No. 1 of the Council of Chirchiq State Pedagogical Institute in Tashkent region. Initially operating within the "Preschool and Primary Education Sport Department" and then the "Primary Education Department" in 2019, it became an independent department in 2021. Today, the department is engaged in training personnel for the primary education system and developing educational literature and methodological recommendations for primary education.

Mission and Goals The main objective of the Department of Primary Education Theory and Practice is to help future primary education teachers acquire knowledge and enhance their professional skills by teaching them the methodological foundations of primary education and the methods and techniques used in the educational process. Based on this, the department's objectives are:

• Deepening theoretical and pedagogical knowledge in the field of primary education.
• Preparing primary education teachers for effective work in the educational process.
• Applying and developing new pedagogical technologies in the educational process.

Scientific Research Areas and Projects In conducting scientific research, the department has identified several scientific directions aligning with the priority areas of our country's socio-economic development. In particular, based on the Rector's order No. 01-191 dated August 30, 2022, titled "On Increasing Scientific Potential, Developing Science and Innovation in the Institute," the "Future Education" scientific research laboratory was launched. The main goal of this laboratory is to conduct innovative, fundamental, and scientific-practical research on primary education problems. Professors and lecturers of the department are publishing scientific and theoretical articles in this direction, and the research topics of young teachers' dissertations prioritize the study of primary education problems.

Scientific research conducted by the department's professors and lecturers includes:

• Doniyorova Laylo Xudoyberdiyevna (13.00.02 - Theory and Practice of Education and Upbringing): Improving the methodology of using feminatives in the speech of future primary school teachers.
• Axmadaliyeva Maxliyo Sherali qizi (10.00.02 - Uzbek Literature): Interpretation of the authoritarian regime in Zulfiya's work (using the example of poetry from independence years and the epic "Fragments of My Memory").
• Matkarimova Sayyora Shavkatbek qizi (13.00.02 - Theory and Practice of Education and Upbringing): Methodology for forming students' creative competence through working on literary and theoretical concepts.
• Madraximova Inobat Bahodirovna (10.00.02 - Uzbek Literature): Poetic interpretation of the autumn image in new Uzbek poetry.
• Xudayqulova Fazilat Bo'riyevna (13.00.02 - Theory and Practice of Education and Upbringing): Methodology for improving international assessment programs and innovative technologies in primary education.
• Artikova Nargiz Shuhratovna (13.00.02 - Theory and Practice of Education and Upbringing): Improving the methodology for forming communicative competencies of school students based on modern pedagogical approaches.
• Rahimova Nuquljon Yusuppovna (13.00.02 - Theory and Practice of Education and Upbringing): Methodology for developing eco-pedagogical competencies in future primary school teachers.
• Ibragimova Dildora Inomjonovna (10.00.02 - Uzbek Literature): Themes and ideological aspects in Isajon Sulton's literary and historical works.
• Suleymanova Sevara Abdumalikovna (10.00.02 - Uzbek Literature): Artistic psychologism in modern Uzbek prose: harmony of style and genre.

The scientific research activities of the department's professors and lecturers are supervised by the Faculty's Scientific Council. "Improving the quality and effectiveness of primary education based on a cluster approach" is a priority research area for the Department of Primary Education Theory and Practice. Based on this priority, research is being conducted in the following areas:

• Publishing scientific articles and methodological recommendations on the "Future Education" scientific research laboratory.
• Inclusion of cluster system directions in the dissertation topics of professors and lecturers.
• Orienting published scientific articles and educational-methodological manuals towards increasing the effectiveness of primary education.
• Scientific cooperation with primary school teachers of general secondary schools in Tashkent region based on the cluster approach.

Scientific Laboratories Based on the Rector's order No. 01-180 dated July 5, 2021, titled "On Increasing Scientific Potential, Developing Science and Innovation in the Institute," the "Future Teacher-Scientific Research Laboratory" was established at the department. Professors, master's students, and bachelor's students are conducting research in this laboratory.

Department Faculty As of the 2024-2025 academic year, the department has a total of 16 professors and lecturers, including visiting professors Diah Gusrayani from Indonesia's Pendidikan University, Professor Safo Matchon, and Associate Professor H. G'ulomova, who work on a part-time basis.
