Atanazar Karimovich Rakhimov (born June 25, 1971, Khorezm region, Uzbek SSR) is an Uzbek scientist, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor.

Atanazar Rakhimov was born on June 25, 1971 in Khorezm region. In 1988-1993, he graduated from the "Geography-Biology" department of the "Natural Geography" faculty of the Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical Institute. He began his career in 1993 as a senior laboratory assistant in the "Problems of Cotton Genetics" scientific laboratory of the Faculty of Biology and Soil Science of Tashkent State University. Later, he studied at the postgraduate course of the Genetics Research Institute of the Uzbek Academy of Sciences. Since 1998, he has continued his work as a junior research fellow at the Khorezm Mamun Academy. Since 2003, he has worked as an assistant, teacher, senior teacher, acting associate professor, associate professor at the Department of Genetics and Cytoembryology of the National University of Uzbekistan, and since 2016, he has been the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Head of the Department of Genetics and Cytoembryology, Chairman of the Academic and Methodological Council of the faculty, and Dean of the Faculty of Biology and Soil Science. Since 2019, he has been working as the Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Chirchik State Pedagogical Institute.
