Zayniddin Sanakulov – A Distinguished Expert in German Language Education and Scholarship

Zayniddin Sanakulov graduated from the Faculty of German Philology at the Uzbek State University of World Languages. He began his academic career in 2009 as a lecturer at the Department of Lexicology and Stylistics. Today, having developed from a young educator into a nationally and internationally recognized expert, he is regarded as one of the leading figures in his field.

Since 2017, Zayniddin Sanakulov has been serving at Chirchiq State Pedagogical University, where he actively incorporates innovative approaches into the teaching process. He has gained rich international experience through professional development in Germany, Austria, and Russia.

His academic interests include the methodology of teaching German as a foreign language, intercultural communication, and the didactics of literary onomastics. To date, he has authored over 60 scholarly publications, including scientific articles and theses, one textbook, four teaching manuals, and three specialized dictionaries.

As a university lecturer, he teaches both theoretical subjects — Theoretical Grammar of the German Language, Lexicology, General Linguistics, as well as the DLL (Deutsch Lehren Lernen) course — and practical disciplines such as Reading and Writing Practice, Practice of Language Aspects, and Integration of Speech Skills.

In 2022, he successfully defended his PhD dissertation titled “Word Formation and Its Lexicographic Aspect (Based on German and Uzbek Languages)” in the specialty of Comparative Literature, Linguistics, and Translation Studies (10.00.06), earning the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philology. In 2023, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor.

Currently, Zayniddin Sanakulov is the head of the Department of German Language and is pursuing advanced research toward his Doctor of Science (DSc) degree.

Beyond teaching and research, he plays an active role in international academic collaboration. He is a member of the International Scientific Council of the Leibniz Institute for the German Language (IDS Mannheim) and serves as the coordinator of methodological cooperation with IDS Mannheim, the Heidelberg University of Education, and the University of Münster.

Zayniddin Sanakulov’s career reflects a strong commitment to educational innovation, digital transformation, and international integration. He continues to make significant contributions to modern German studies and the training of a new generation of German language professionals.
